Too much of anything isn't the best way to do things. Chances are you are dehydrated and you are craving the salt in the pickles. Some women just like the sweet and sour connection when they ar pregnant. There is a whole chapter on dietary myths and pregnancy in the source book below and pickles are a topic of discussion

1 Rabbit, ready for the pan
Salt
½ cup Olive oil
1 cup Vinegar, wine
Flour
2 tablespoon Butter
3 Olives, chopped
1 Garlic clove, mashed
2 cup Consomme
¼ teaspoon Salt
¼ teaspoon Pepper
1 tablespoon Bacon, raw, diced
2 cup Wine, red
Cut rabbit into serving pieces; place in bowl overnight with 1 Tbsp salt, olive oil, and wine vinegar. Remove and dip in flour. Brown on all sides in butter, then add chopped olives, mashed garlic cloves and brown again. Add 2 C consomme, salt, pepper, raw bacon and red wine. Place in covered casserole dish and bake at 350 for about 2 hours.

with all the things you;ve been craving; that cou;d almost be a meal it self..cut a chicken in bite size pieces and add some soy sause ; boil with vinegar minus the rabbit poo and the hay; boil 40 minute add onions and ginger root' and when done you will have a great stew .save the dropping and hay and they can become a spread for crackers..yummy

Glad you cleared up the dumplings part. If it were a dumpling craving, that is a sure sign of being preggers, but a dropping craving is a sure sign of brain disease.

Did you see the South Park a few weeks ago when Kyle lost the bet to Cartman and Kyle had to suck his balls? The one part he was like "Kyle, I haven't showered in 2 days so my balls are extra vinegary". I have no idea why, but this question reminded me of that.
