I just bought a random fruit from the fruit and veg stall near me. It's yellow-orange on the outside, and has a dried leafy top like a tomato. I peeled it (but had to use a veg peeler), and the inside was textured a bit like a potato. It was very sweet, and I really like it. All I know is it began with a k. Can anybody tell me what it is?

Found fruits that sound like a K but are not! They all are yellow-orange, sweet & textured like a potato.
