I'm a busy mom and just wanted a healthy alternative to the hassle of juicing. I eat fruits and veggies also, but lately I've been lazy and just wanted something to bring to work that's healthy and easy and considering juicing. Apart from buying a juicer and buying certain vegetables to make the recipes so it is appetizing, I like V-8 and wanted to know if that's a good alternative to improve my health (low sodium version, of course, my blood pressure has been high lately).

It's a okay quick choice. BUT not as your only choice. Nothing can take the place of FRESH RAW VEGGIE JUICE.
All bottled & can juices are "cooked", killing a whole lot of nutirients.
I like you do not feel I have the time to make fresh juice everyday. I take a simple short cut. I make a double batch every other day. I keep it fresh but putting it in smalled containers( I use the good quality "water" bottles, & topping it off. Filling the container to slightly overflowing. I top off with distilled water so as not to waste my juice. With no air getting to the juice it stays fresh a day or 2 longer. I got this tip from my personal trainer, who is also a raw foodie.

I have a juicer and I use it quite frequently. I made my own version of V-8 juice and they do not taste the same at all. Even the low-sodium type has a lot more salt than the fresh alternative would have. You might also want to consider the fact that the V-8 has preservatives and other additives that keep it "fresher" longer.
You can drink the V-8, but do it sparingly. Anything that's processed has its downfalls.

I'm sorry but no it really isn't. Look on ebay for a lower price to save money. In the meantime if you have a blender start making yourself some fresh fruit smoothies. They are filling, nutritions and give you alot of energy. You can even throw some greens in as well.
I make my smoothies with:

8 to 9 strawberries
1/2 cup water
1/4 pineapple (I buy it already cored and peeled)
1 mango
1 banana
3 to 4 ice cubes

Place the water and strawberries in blender and blend.
Then add one fruit at a time blending in between so not to clog blender
Add 3 to 4 ice cubes and blend
Pour into glass and enjoy

This will make a few servings so you can make it in the morning, and take some with you for work. As for your veggies how about bringing a nice garden salad to work.

Yes, it's a healthy alternative. Although, with 140mg of sodium per serving, it's higher than you would likely get from making your own juice.

Still, sometimes when you're feeling lazy, trade-offs are acceptable. :)

Blessed prophet Muhammad (PBUH) recommends the urine of the she camel for various ailments. Maybe find some near you to help your troubles.
