I mean people who eat beef meat and etc.. but dont eat seafood. It cant be vegetarian because that would be not eating any creature and not omnivores as sara just pointed out. Like you can call it half vegetarian but surely theres a name for it. like (something)arian

Why not have a label for everything? like its not trivial and like saying what do u call someone who doesnt eat cucumber. seafood is a big topic. if theres a label for people who dont eat beef meat and etc.. why not seafood. it either isnt known or hasnt been created...

I'm suprised we only had one our of twelve say "pescetarian ". We normally get a rash of people saying that.

You will not find "pescetarian " in a real dictionary. It is a modern made up word and doesn't really hold much weight with most people because (a) it creates too much confusion with the vegetarian defintion and (b) the word doesn't stand up to scrutiny......"vege"tarians eat vegetation.....only, so does that mean "pesce"tarians eat fish....only ?? No, the word does not make sense.

You are someone who does not eat meat or poultry.

its as simple as that.

There is no word for it. They are just regular omnivores who don't like seafood. Why does there have to be a label for everything having to do with meat? Nobody ever asks "What do you call someone who doesn't eat cucumber?"

Omnivores.

edited to add to posters below me: Um.. you don't think people who eat cows, pigs, chickens, etc. eat meat? If you eat ONLY meat, you're a carnivore. If you eat ANY meat as well as vegetable matter, you're an omnivore whether you're picky about which ones you'll eat or not.

edited again to add: Vegetarians don't eat ANY meat. If you eat meat, you're an omnivore. I'm not sure how else to say that. Sara is WRONG. You are an omnivore.
It's not like i'm longer a vegetarian because I don't like sweet potatoes. That's ridiculous.

Most people just call me by my name.
I don't think there is a category for those of us that don't eat seafood. I know I'm allergic to shellfish so that has a term, but thinking that fish is yucky doesn't have a name.
