I want it to be really cool! I'm a rocker/emo type of girl so i want it to be so awsome! It's for my birthday but then again i don't want to get it from a perfesional because their too expensive!

Find a bakery that you can afford, and whose stuff you love, and work with them about a theme. You might also want to consider a non-traditional "cake" as well, such as:
1. A tower of mini eclairs
2. A Chocolate Fountain with lots of goodies to dip in it.
3. Gourmet Cupcakes
4. Baklava
5. Cream puffs filled with Chantilly cream and covered with a sugar web
6. Check out the website for Charm City cakes and see if they have any ideas.

a picture cake... u tell them what kind iof cake u want and bring them a picture and they print it on the frosting. it can be your favorite band or a pic of u with your friends
