yesterday I was playing Halo 3 after I ate dinner, I was getting a bit aggravated and then I suddenly felt lightheaded, I felt a bit flushed, and the area around my diaphgram felt like it had a bit more pressure. I felt no pains in my shoulders or extremities, I did kinda feel like my heart beat was a bit faster. Had no difficulties breathing but shifting around different positions altered the way I felt. I've never felt hearburn before so I'm not sure if this is it. Does this seem liek heartburn, angina, or something else that I might be overlooking?

It's really hard to say. Angina can present itself in many different ways. It sounds like it could be heartburn or even chest wall pain. Angina is usually not positional in nature. People that have chest wall pain are usually given an NSAID (Motrin or Advil) to see if that relieves the pain. You can try an antiacid (Prevacid) to see if that relieves the pain.
If you have pain with exertional activities that goes away when you rest, this is more concerning for heart pain. Do you have risk factors for heart disease? Age? Smoker? Hypertention? Are you diabetic? Family history of heart problems? Those are all questions your doctor will want to know if you are concerned it could be your heart.
Otherwise, I'd mention to your doctor next time you are in for a physical (unless this is something that keeps recurring, then I'd make an appointment sooner.) And get a baseline EKG.
Hope this helps!

Heart attack - myocardial infarction, is a medical emergency. So if you are in doubt get it checked immediately - blood tests and an ECG at least. Symptoms are gripping, vice like pain in the left chest +/- radiating down the left arm or into the neck. Profuse sweating, anxiety, nausea and difficulty breathing. All or some of these symptoms may be present at the same time. Heart burn is usually a burning sensation in the middle of the chest, and can make you feel like you are going to throw up. Heartburn and an MI are often confused, even by medical staff. So to be safe if you're not sure, get it checked - you wouldn't be the first person to die from what he thought was heartburn!!

angina - stabbing pain, sweating, chest or back pain, shakes, etc. it mimics a 'heart attack' so much that one cannot tell the difference.
this little episode is probably a precursor to something else. make an appointment with a cardiologist and be safe. a stress test, EKG, and other diagnostic tools will give you the answer you seek. do not delay.
hope this helps.

It definitely sounds like heartburn. Did you try taking an ant-acid to see if it helped? If you're concerned, go to a doctor, but more than likely it is nothing to worry about...especially if it happened after dinner.

This sounds more like a shift in blood pressure than angina. If you were agitated and moving about, sounds pretty normal.

Generally, if you are having heart-pain, or any discomfort that is heart related I don't think that shifting position would alter it. The pain would remain the same no matter how you moved. But if you are worried it might be worth checking with your doctor just to be safe, particularly if this is something that you've never experienced before.

Could be angina, but considering is was YESTERDAY the tisue is probably already dead. So it very well could be myocardial infarction by now, go see a doctor.

Get this checked out because my hubby was told he had indigestion and it was angina and he had an attack when we were 30m under the water on a dive. Not good.
