It means that they are not foolproof...and, you don't have to have sex with 100 women to find that out...you could have sex with just one, using a condom, and get her pregnant. The most effective birth control is a condom with spermicidal gel or something like the Today sponge (which contains spermicide but also works as a physical barrier). The sponge is good because it works for up to 24 hours, so helps with spontenaity. There are also these thin sheets (vaginal inserts, can't remember the name) that work for several hours, and are less messy than spermicidal gel. The spermicide also helps prevent STDs. Both are sold in the same section as condoms in most stores. I have used only the Today sponge for many years (bought it online from Canada when it was taken off the market here for a few years) and never got an STD or got pregnant... BUT, I only had ONE steady partner at a time, and the fact that I didn't get an STD or get pregnant doesn't mean it was due 100% to the sponge. The woman also has to strictly follow the instructions!!

Heads up guys. Nobody has the correct answer yet. This is how the statistics work. It actually means if you have sex with 100 women over a year, two of them will get pregnant.
But if you look at this chart it is actually 3 pregnancies for the lowest expected rate which is under ideal conditions. In actual use people are more careless and it goes up to 14.

Sir,
The 98% safety guranted is means...it is not very very safe. The condom is made of rubber okay and it is very soft...sometimes the condom might have a very tiny holes which cannot be seen with our normal eyes but through this tiny holes a secration or what ever fluids can leak through during sex. And if the person is infected with HIV the viral disease can go through that tiny holes into your body.
So you know for sure, what happen next. right! so to tell for sure that the 2 of those condom you used are not effective, hard to say. But my advice is why you have to put yourself on risk just to satisfy your sex desire right...don't have to sacrifice yourself to test the safety of that condom either.

No, it means every time you have sex, you have 2% chance of it not working. It might work all 100 times, or none of the 100 times. The 98% is the chance of it work EACH TIME, not over time.

No. It means that each individual codom has a 98% chance of working. It's only 98 rather than 100% because they sometimes have holes and sometimes slip off without either partner noticing.

Spermicidal condoms have the spermicide on the exterior, no longer the interior the condom. it is further secure practices in case there is leakage. it extremely is not a assure that each and all the sperm contained in the condom would be killed as we communicate, by using any ability, so if the condom gets caught eliminate it VERY heavily attempting to no longer spill any of the sperm out.

The Question is what you wanted to be lie..to yourself.
PPL lie and sometimes condoms break leak slip off.etc.
Still a test does not LIE like PEOPLE LIE..
so get a STD check..those 2 could have HIV or STD
you don't need to be a rocket scientist to know such..

Just in case the condom fails you can't sue the company for not be forewared they are not 100% reliable. They can break or have a hole you did not notice.
That is why doubling is commonly proscribed practice for encounters.

It means that you had better have sex with 1 woman 100 times, so you and her will know whose blame it was when your condom fails.
