It is not 100% guaranteed that you will not get the flu, but more than likely if you are exposed you will not get the flu, or you will have a much, much milder case than you would without the vaccine.

It lasts for several months, long enough to cover the "flu season" months.

As long as you have not been exposed to the virus prior to getting the shot, and are not exposed to it for the 7-10 days following the shot, you most likely will not get the flu. (It takes 7-10 days for the shot to be completely effective, and if you had been exposed to the flu virus, it takes about two weeks from the day you were exposed to come down with the flu.)

I also got mine the other day before travelling overseas.

Most people have no adverse effects from a flu shot other than soreness at the injection site that *lasts a few days*. The greatest risk is an allergic reaction, which can be serious, but this is very rare. A low fever occasionally occurs so some people have to take the flu shot once every year. It should be called flu vaccine and not anti-flu shot.

While influenza virus vaccines cannot give complete protection against flu, they *greatly reduce* the risk of flu-like infections, reduce the risk of hospitalization, and shorten the duration of these infections!

in case you have felt undesirable for 5 days then you certainly've had the flu for twelve days because it takes each and every week to incubate. you probably did no longer get it from the jab and your surgeon and pharmacist are liars. you should start to sense extra useful in 2 days and it will likely be thoroughly long gone in 9. 3 weeks in finished.

Most flu shots contain mercury, the single most poisonous substance on earth. Good luck.
