They are a little bit over the top
But they're cause is good
My sister is a vegetarian and she hates Peta she says they give us a bad name and enforces the stereotype that we are pushy and hate meat eaters

They are a little too aggressive when it comes to trying to do the right thing. I understand they want animals to be treated fairly, but they need to start accepting other people's opinions and just stop trying to change everyone into vegans and vegetarians.
Also, many people say PETA kills animals and tortures them.
Since there really is no proof of that, I tend to not believe it.
I support some of their causes, but they tend to get annoying a little too often with their campaigns.

PETA is a huge part of the animal rights movement, but they are not THE animal rights movement.
I like PETA because they expose the lies and document the reality of practices that industries want to hide from consumers. A documentary of theirs motivated me to become a vegetarian.
But they can be sometimes hurtful to the cause by antagonizing vegetarians to the mainstream public with some of their campaigns. You can be a vegetarian and animal rights activist without any involvement with PETA.
I personally like them but I don't care to be a part of the organization.

I am not exactly a fan of PETA. I truly dislike their sexist advertising and the way they treat women as pieces of meat. I think PETA tries to shock people and doesn't care if they offend people.
I'd rather support organizations that have a kinder, gentler way of encouraging people to go veg*an.

I am a longtime vegetarian, and I believe PETA has a good idea, but bad judgement. They tend to go overboard and seem a little crazy.

I'm indifferent. I wish people would understand that vegetarianism has nothing to do with peta.

I think they're tame. The ALF actually rescues animals.
But I do love how practicing their right to free speech earns them so much hatred, and how they're considered "extreme" because they show meateaters what goes into their lifestyles. I suppose the hard truth will always be considered "extreme".

They give us a bad name. The main reason most people stop eating meat is because of the killing involved which is the most extreme act of violence.
Peta uses violence against people during their so called "GOOD" acts. Peaceful protests are the only way to go when its in relation to Animal suffering.

They're a bunch of nutcases, and I occasionally toy with the conspiracy theory that they are actually out to make the veg community look bad with their horrible tactics. They're horribly hypocritical, "euthanizing" huge numbers of animals that they've supposedly rescued every year. Their only good point is as a recipe resource.
