Regular milk is cancer causing. It is also watered down with the programs they use on it chemically. The best milk I've found is rice milks and soy milks. I prefer Edensoy vanilla, and sometimes it's expensive but I try to find it in stores that have it discounted. But the alternatives to commercial milk are much better for you and a much better source of protein.

Milk contains protein, along with most other foods. It also has fat, cholesterol, growth hormones and tiny bits of blood and pus. Things like soy, almond or rice milk are much better for you but if you must drink cows milk go for organic milk... I saw a test done recently which showed that organic milk had 90% more nutrients in than non-organic!

It contains two types: casein and whey. Both can cause allergic reaction. If you're looking for a vege protein source there are lots of others... nuts, pulses and grains in combination to make all the essential amino acids. Soy is a complete protein but the others must be mixed

Yes, cows' milk has protein in it, along with fat, cholesterol, hormones, antibiotics, blood, and pus. One thing it doesn't have is usable calcium. Because of the acidic nature of animal protein, cows' milk actually causes you to lose calcium.

If you read the label, it has about 8gm of protein per serving (8oz). It's a great source for complete protein.
