its my boyfriends 30th birthday in dec. and I need some ideas on what to do. I don't want to throw him a party and I'm on a budget. any ideas?

Most guys are happy with what you've already done but you might try to suprise him by getting a really nice hotel room the day of his b-day. Not that skanky way but just to get away, get a room for the kids too so you all can have some private moments. Just lay there all day in bed watching tv or eating or talking then maybe get a nice swim suit and go for a swim. Get him away from his everyday life and the kids too of course and just enjoy the day!

You could invite some close friends over or go out to dinner with them. Guys generally don't like parties to much. I think women are more into parties, unless the guy hasn't grown up yet. In that case, get him balloons and a party hat. Do that anyway, it sounds like fun.
Or you could make him a romantic dinner, candle light and quiet music, sexy lingere.

Go out and get one of those Old West photos taken, that's fun. Then grab a couple bottles of champagne, order Chinese, and lay a blanket on the living room floor and have a "carpet picnic". Worked for me. *wink*

Take him out to dinner. Say your going to get gas and tell him to close his eyes and then take him to his favorite place to eat dinner. Trust, me itll work!

go bar hopping and get one drink at each place till he's drunk! maybe go see some sporting event thats going on at the time in your area. maek him his favorite dinner. go to the strip club together, maybe to the comedy club
