She keeps aking me things like, can you not smoke in bed, or stop blowing that smoke my way. How do I tell her to quit being so selfish. I mean I love her, but not enough to quit smoking.

Dude, it is time for you to either Quit smoking or at least smole no where in the vicinity of your wife. My older brother smoked for years, his wife, never. She died of lung cancer several years ago. Second hand smoke is a killer. Your wife has picked a real winner, yes she has. Blowing smoke into the face of a non smoker is assault.

You have to ask yourself. Would you like it better if she die. It happens all the time. People die of second hand smoke before the smoker. If you really love her. You should at least try to smoke outside. I don't like smoke, and I don't like smokers, but I have fallen in love with a smoker. Our relationship didn't last for other reasons. But I always remember how caring, and sensitive he was towards me. He always made sure that he smoked away from me. Don't do it because she wants you to do it. Do it because you love her and you want to do it.

If you truly love her and can't give up smoking (which is definitely bothering her ) how about compromising by going outside to smoke and sleeping in different rooms or different beds .If you don't ,you'll more than likely worsen her problems or she'll "dump" you ! Incidentally ,I think you're "spoiled " (you would want her to compromise if you were the ONE having problems .... Wake up and do both of you a favor .... quit smoking !!!!!!!

you should respect her wishes and not smoke around her it is you that is being selfish Im a smoker and dont see how you can be so selfish? it is the air she breathes and has a right to breathe clean air

I think she has a serious judgment problem if she puts up with you...time she got some smarts and found a clean-living dude.

This is a common problem, and must be dealt with in an aggressive manner. Whe she complains, burn her with your cigarette. She will learn soon enough to keep her mouth shut.
