I think you should be a vegetarian. (Starting tomorrow-I will be one) If you don't like eating a lot of meat and love animals then definitely be a vegetarian or vegan. You sound like you don't have a very big apetite and you don't eat much. I don't think there is anything really wrong with you but its always a good idea to go to the doctor and let him make sure you are healthy. Also, try and experience new foods that might be easier on your stomach. Fruits would be good and drink water often. I used to eat too much fried foods and it made me sick and I had gallbladder problems. So you might wnat to tell your doc. how eating meat affects your stomach and he'll see if everything is all right. But, I reccomend going vegetarian.

Definitely lean toward vegetarian. Since you're eating junk food with too much cheese, you don't want to go vegan. Vegan means eating nothing that comes from animals or birds - including dairy products or eggs. Cage free eggs are much better for you and the chicken. Battery cages are horrible to chickens.

However, you should only use organic dairy products as there have been many links to cancer and other diseases from the artificial hormones injected in animals to make them produce an unnatural and very uncomfortable amount of milk - thereby needing antibiotics to take care of the diseases it is giving to the animals.

You need to get rid of as much junk food as you can and only eat fresh fruits and lots of vegetables prepared any way you like them. One easy way to get a pretty good balance is to make sure you are eating a wide variety of colors - red and green peppers, carrots, eggplants, beets, salads, coleslaw, etc.

You can get protein and other nutrients from beans and legumes of various kinds. Make sure you're eating whole grains like oatmeal, whole wheat, brown rice and use sweetners like honey, brown sugar, fruits like raisins and dates.

I've included some links that might help you - and get your parents to back you up on this so they understand you want to become a vegetarian. That way they don't worry that you're trying to starve yourself to death - even though you are currently doing that with an improper diet and seem to be getting by with it.

Take a look at all the great recipes and ask your parents to help you with selecting foods that you like and that give you a balanced diet.

Best wishes as you begin a really great new adventure that is better for you and kinder to animals.

And don't forget the spices and herbs! That's a whole new experience that is a lot of fun to learn to use - especially fresh ground up spices. Yummm!

Turning vegetarian is something you do for a reason... It sounds like you are just picky eater....

I think the plus side would be that you might feel like you can explore more food options... Try new things......

if you don't like meat don't eat it...

You have an eating disorder-even your pickiness follows no logical pattern-you have an antagonistic relationship with food and are underweight. Seek help.
