my favourite thai starter (in fact my favourite ever starter) is nem .. tiny spring rolls served with lettuce and fresh mint and sweet chilli dip ...the secret to eating them (which noone ever tells you) is to put roll into the lettuce leaf,shred a mint leaf (or 2) wrap it up in leaf and dip into the chilli... mmmm WOW!!!

I love Thai food..can't seem to get enough!! I just love the Spicy & Sour Papaya Salad (Som Tum) and the minced chicken/pork with basil leaves eaten with white rice.And the ever famous Spicy Hot & Sour Soup ( Tom Yum ) as well..simply delicious!! I love mine extra spicy..gets my blood going...heehee ;) Bon appetit everyone!!

I prefer panang curry beef made moderately spicy but on occaision i will have pad thai with chicken again moderately spicy.

Love this!!!!

THAI CHICKEN

4 chicken breasts, cut
1 cup salsa
1/3 cup peanut butter
2 teaspoons soy sauce
2 teaspoons balsamic vinegar
1 teaspoon molasses
2 teaspoons water
1 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon sesame seed
2 teaspoons oil
3 cups rice, cooked

Bring to boil salsa, peanut butter, soy sauce, vinegar, molasses and water, stirring often. Keep warm.
Combine chili powder, ginger and garlic powder in plastic bag. Add chicken strips to bag and shake to coat.

In skillet or wok, stir-fry chicken in oil over meduim-high heat, 2-3 min. or until cooked.

Spoon sauce over rice on plates; arrange chicken and sprinkle with sesame seed.

Optional: Garnish with green onion and chives.

Pad thai with shrimp or chicken . No peanuts ,no bean sprouts , cilantro , lime and jalepeno slices are ok . BURP ! excuse me !

I usually get panang curry with chicken and I get it as hot as they can make it.
