My mom is anemic so she drinks blackstrap molasses in hot water. If you can get yourself to tolerate that, that would take care of ya.
also anytime you eat foods high in iron, have some vitamin C too (like OJ) I hear VIt C helps your body absorb iron better..

Vitamin C is very good and necessary for your body to absorb iron. I guess here could be the key to your problems. Eat fruit rich in vitamin C and do a google search on vegetarian diets and see both sources of vitamin C and iron.

Um... so, you think you are lacking iron?
Many things could cause anemia (anaemia).
Yeah, eating better can't hurt.
Good sources of iron: Seaweeds, rice bran, legumes, beans, lentils...

"Might" be anemic? Try seeing a doctor and finding out for sure, then ask his recommendations-your diet may not be the root cause of the problem.

i was anemic BEFORE i became vegan/vegetarian. raw broccoli is GREAT. also try suppliments if you don't like some of the food that are high in iron.
