How long did it take for those who have had an abnormal pap to hear back from their doctor after their appointment? I am not talking about those who had a normal pap and had something in the mail sent to them after weeks. Please only those with abnormal paps or those who know how long it takes to hear back from the doctor after an appointment.

The first pap smear I ever had was abnormal (along with a couple of them after my first one). I didn't receive my results for a few weeks after the test was done though.
It can take a while to get the test results back. Don't worry yourself to death over it.
You can always call them and ask them if they have received your results yet, and if they haven't, ask them if they know about how long it might be till they do.

When I had an abnormal pap, they called me in about a week. I had pre-cancerous cells that need to be removed right away. If you don't hear back in 2 weeks, it is probably fine, but you can call to check if you are concerned.

When I had any vaginal test results (and one abnormal pap) it took 3 business days, which was over the weekend.
