Yes.
Gardasil ONLY protects a woman from contracting 4 different kinds of HPV. Two of those kinds are known to cause about 70% of cervical cancer cases and the other two kinds are known to cause about 90% of genital wart cases. There are over 30 different kinds of sexually transmitted kinds of HPV and the vaccine prevents contracting 4 of those 30+ different kinds!
So, even if a woman has been vaccinated with Gardasil, it's still possible for her to contract any of the kinds of HPV she hasn't been vaccinated for.

there are over 100 strands of hpv the vaccine only gaurds agiants a few of them

Yes. The vaccine does not protect against all kinds of hpv and it is unsure if if it truly protects against the kinds it says it does...

oh yes...there are soo many strains of the HPV virus...that that one shot actually wards off about 95% of the HPV viruses...so that's good news...but still be careful! so many strains...but hte shot is great! and has lower significant risk of getting cervical cancer if you get it! so yay
