I am a 25 year old female who's been getting sick since 2003 2x per year. I get severe pain when I breathe in and when I bend over in my chest/trachea area....also, get severe pain in my right shoulder blade and very bad sinus pain. This lasts for about a week...Some days the pain is so bad only Vicodin helps. I have seen several doctors and have been in the ER too many times to count. No doctor can diagnose me. I have had an upper endoscopy, EKG, echo-cardiogram, blood work, chest x-ray, tried several medications for heartburn....all tests come back normal every time. I've seen Cardiologists, Gastro....ER Docs, my Primary.....no one knows what's wrong or why this happens. Could this be stress related? Caused by allergies?? Please if anyone can help I would really appreciate it. Thank You.

Your chief complaints are ; episode of sever chest pain and radiate to your shoulder blade for last three years. This pain happen around 2 time a year and you have cardiology workup and you are only 25 years old cardiac pain should be r/o.Also had gi workup hiatus hernia, ulcer and ca of esophagus ect almost r/o. Also chest x-ray show no obvious lung disease then one illness fit in your complaints left behind I think is pulmonary PLEURISY.This is the inflammation of the menban of the lung.symptoms are sever chest pain get worse when take deep breath and if the pleurisy involve to diaphragmatic area the pain will radiate to your shoulder.there so many reason to have pleurisy some time just virus infection(pleurodynia;coxsackie b virus) but you need to r/o other reasons.Talk to your doctor about this and see what they think.Good luck.

could be a number of things. Sounds to me like a bad case of sinus infection (er sinusitis) with post nasal drip. I would say you are getting an infection and the coughing is what causes your chest & tracheal pain. The sinus pain is probably from congested sinuses. Try taking Drixoral and ask our primary if they think rhinocort or nasocort might be of a benefit, saline nasal spray may help too, like Ocean Spray (not the juice) which is available over the counter.

i know someon who has suffered from that before its normally anxiety or stress, so i would monitor what upsets you and then maybeys consider them two, because stress can lead to bains all over the upper body, but when your getting tests at the docs u are more relaxed because u know u are in safe hands and whatever stress was there goes away, so consider them, also have any majour changes occured in ur life.

good luck

Since you have been to "regular" doctors already, then you need to go "natural." I like the library. Any books by Dr. Mehmet Oz and Dr. Cass Ingram are quite powerful and worthwhile. Try them and do well with the advice that they render. I wish you well. What shall we then say to these things? If GOD be for us, WHO can be against us? - Romans 8:31. The Lord daily loadeth us with BENEFITS, even the God of our salvation. Selah. - Psalm 68:19. Peace, Love and God Bless.
