I have a favorite tofu recipe that I got from www.vegweb.com.
1 lb tofu
1/4 cup nutritional yeast
2 tbsp flour
1/4 cup lemon juice
2 tbsp soy sauce/tamari
1 tbsp balsamic vinegar (but cider vinegar is okay)
chopped scallions
chopped bell peppers
capers
Saute tofu until it starts to brown. Add nutritional yeast and flour and stir to coat. Add soy sauce, tamari, and vinegar and stir until liquid is absorbed. Add veggies and cook until tender crisp.
Serve.

Will depend on on the context really. Which is better as a snack - fresh fruit personally. It's tastier and gives you that little of sweetness. Which can be better as a snack if you are trying hard to minimize back on sugar and lose weight vegetables
