Genital herpes is caused by the herpes simplex virus and there is no cure for it. The sores caused by genital herpes are large boils that can puss, scab over, and heal.
Also, herpes is NOT transmitted by a toilet seat. If it was, A LOT more people would have genital herpes then they do now! The ONLY STD that can be transmitted by a toilet seat is pubic lice (crabs). However, pubic lice can only live on a toilet seat for 24 hours before they die, so it's almost impossible to get a STD from a toilet seat.

Genital herpes is a viral infection characterised by outbreaks of blisters and sores around your genital area. You can catch it through having sex (usually vaginal or anal intercourse, or oral sex) with someone who is infected with one of the viruses that cause genital herpes.

its not either one of them. herpes is a virus that attatches itself to your spine. there is no cure for it but it is controlable. once an outbreak occures, u can get etther leigions (open sores) or blisters sometimes both. they will be very itchy and painful. lice or nits might be crabs.

neither it is a virus. there are two symplex one and two. One is a cold sore on your mouth and the other is a cold sore that is on the genitals. but you can get one where two is supposed to form or two where one is supposed to form due to oral sex. Also be aware that it can stay alive on a host for up to 17 hours such as a towel, toilet seat or anything that comes into contact with it.
