I want to measure normal accessible butweld fittings wall thickness. Measuring with vernier does not give precise data, so I'am looking for a tool with precise data. Which kind of micrometer to be used, outer, inner or other?

If you have access to the equipment the very best way for accurate measurements would be X-ray or laser scane. Outside of those just years of experience will tell you. Good luck.

If they are accessible, use micrometers and or verniers. Else, use an ultrasonic thickness gage. If you post your problem with sketches, I can give you a more specific answer.
