part of living is learning.... for me it is anyways.... i think as we grow and live we learn life lesson that we may take with us when we die.. i think that's what makes us who we are.. if we had all the answers , it would be boring.. no challenges we wouldn't be able to grow.

Your question is illogical...

If I found a book how would I know it contained all the answers if I didn't read it... Does it simply have a title "All The Answers To Life"? Titles are often deceiving...

Or maybe you have a book in mind that you believe has all the answers to life... Which religious text would that be?

I don't think there are absolute answers to every aspect of life. Big questions like "What should I do with my life?" are clearly not going to have the same answers for everyone.

As such, I don't believe there is a book that can answer all the questions (no, religious scriptures such as the Bible can't answer all of life's questions)

If, hypothetically, there was such a book, it would therefore have to be a unique book for each person.

Would I read mine? Probably not. Knowing the 'best' route for me to take would take the element of choice out of my life. I can't see life being as fun if I was just to live according to this book.

Isn't that what the Quran, Bible and Torah does? Provides answers to life? Yet look at society today you are torn between extremists, people who choose not to have a faith and loyal followers. Plus the issue of how do you apply such a thing to everyday life in particular situations

No.

As much as I whine about always being confused and not knowing what I should do in life, I would certainly close that book and hide it in a safe place.

It beats the purpose of living life if we find the answers in that book.

Of course I think all Intelligent people read the bible. I feel the bible exemplifies that basic truth which is love of neighbor as myself. It show God's forgiveness of man repeated over and over. It shows man loosing direction and God providing the answers and the way to life.

Yes, but I would be most interested in reading the book of life (Rev. 20:15) to see if my name's written on it.

I've already found it. Already read it.

And its not the Boy Scout Handbook or the Army Field Manual.

Its called the Holy Bible.

"Life" isn't really a question. If I found a book detailing all the most fundamental laws of the universe from which everything else is derived, I'd auction it off to string theorists. Until then, I'm sticking with 42.
