Jay, no matter what the man must pay the bill. If you let the girl pay it, you're going to seem weak. She's only offering out of courtesy, never let the girl pay for any dates.

If a guy let me pay on the first date, even if I offered, there would not be a second date!!! After you are together, then it is okay if she pays sometimes if your salaries are similar.

i don't mind if guy didn't pay on the 1st date, this is modern century, but i know some girls will really mind of that, for general, guy should pay i mean if you wanna leave a good impression to the girl you date, unless you forgot to bring your wallet out, hahaha

WELL...Depends...The person who invited the other person should pay. If the woman did the inviting she should pay!!! But...if you wanna(simply a choice)be a gentleman then you can opt to pay for half or the whole dinner

the man always does...so be a man, and handle your business as a man....unless you don't want a second date....but even after the first date.....the man always pays....doesn't matter who makes how much money....unless other arrangements have been made beforehand
