I don't think people are against that religion they are part of. They may not be as dedicated, as they could be, to all the rules and rituals. But, they do pick up on the spiritual energy generated by their religious community, and it makes them feel good enough to stay a member. I am not traditional in my beliefs, so I am not a member of any of these religions. I am for more morality on this earth, because we have so many problems not being addressed and we need people of real high moral character to do this. I see traditional religions as inadequate for the problems of today. Of course they could improve on their spiritual ideas, but traditional institutions can be very resistent to change. The focus of any good belief system has to be, tranforming this world into a better place, by working on and solving its problems to a reasonable degree.

If I got it right, you think that the actuations of self-professed believers betray the fact that they are without religion (e.g. the personal and harmonious relationship with God). Well, to a large extent, you may be right. If people are so busy with religion, they will not bother fighting over who has a monopoly of the truth. I believe that all religious systems and styles have a common denominator, a basic process to achieve contact with God.

You are so right, religion has cut it's own throat by behaving like wolves to a slaughter of sheep. There's over 3,000 different religions and cults all teaching a different Jesus Christ and many different ways to serve God, some have even authored their own bible, took out words and added words to suit their beliefs and call it the truth! Babylon the great the world empire of false religion , her people has been given a warning to get out of her if you don't want to share with her and her sins. You hit it on the nose with anti, they are also a part of the anti Christ.

Nice question.

Infact I should disagree where you say Muslims are Anti Islam.

If you look at history and till now , the large extent of muslims are still followinf the true Islam which Adam , Jesus , Moses and all previous prophets bought.

Hey,
Are you wondering how to downoad for free Empire Earth III? You can get it for free here: http://bit.ly/1oh7DL1

The players are allowed to choose for their starting area and also with their starting era. The civilizations in this game are fully customizable and divided into three powerful factions. These factions are the Western faction, Eastern faction and the Middle Eastern faction. Every faction has their own structure, tech tree, units and gameplay techniques.
It's my favourite game.

If your point is that many who claim to follow the teachings of one particular religion do a lousy job of it, I'd tend to agree. I think 99% is a bit of a stretch, though. I can really only speak for Christians, and I'd point out that Christianity is all about human inability to follow a righteous path. Paul: "For the good that I wish to do, I do not do. The evil that I do not wish to do, I do." But I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me. We try, we fail - but we're justified through Christ, and we try again.

To call 99% of Christians "anti-Christians" - no, can't buy that. And I doubt it for the other religions you mention as well.

I really think that heart has a lot to do with this and not where you come from. It's rather if you have one ( a heart) and if you indeed walk your talk..... givers and then on the other hand are takers. People that walk with respect and some have none. I think that we all should try to walk in the others shoes..and we do if life is long enough. Have a great day!

Wow, I'm glad my religion wasn't mentioned... In most religions you get people that are not true followers. I would agree that these days people are less devout and perhaps most people claiming to follow a particular religion may not do so fully however that is not all.

*Belief in and reverence for a supernatural power or powers regarded as creator and governor of the universe.
*A personal or institutionalized system grounded in such belief and worship.
*The life or condition of a person in a religious order.
*A set of beliefs, values, and practices based on the teachings of a spiritual leader.
*A cause, principle, or activity pursued with zeal or conscientious devotion.
idioms
get religion
To become religious or devout. To resolve to end one's immoral behavior.

Who could go against this principle? As for me, leadership is much more of in the question if they question their religion.
