I am just wanting to know - in a marriage what does separation mean? i have this friend whom i really like and she likes me very much and she wants to go all the way and sdays she is separated due to her spouse cheating on her - thus the separation question. My thinking is that women who are married are off limits of course. I have known her for almost 2 years now
Is it a good idea to pursue a relationship with women in a separation status? is it right?

If they are separated and not getting back together then that is fine.
I think you have to be separated for two years before you can get a divorce.

When they are estranged from their spouse, but have not gone through the divorce process yet. You might want to ask her how long she has been separated, and if she intends to get a divorce any time soon.

seperation means no longer together but still married, its ok to date a woman thats seperated as long as she never wants to get back with husband.
