i have darkest brown home coloured hair, and what to go a lighter brown, with some blonde highlights. I dont mind paying a little extra for a good job, but i dont really want to spend more then two hundred. is there anyway that i could colour my hair at home for the base, and then go to the salon to get the highlights?

Thats the base colour i want my hair to be.. sort of a lighter brown, with a redish hue to it.

Any help would be needed, and any one in australia that know of a good hairdresser that doesnt charge a fourtune, pass their number over :D

Get one of those do it yourself packs from pricline or kmart it does the base colour and highlights with very clear instructions. The pack costs about $25 i'm not sure of the name( maybe loreal) but when you go to the hair section of the store you will know what i am talking about cause it shows a picture on the front. Otherwise if you don't want to do it yourself go to Hairhouse Warehouse the salon in there is reasonably priced

black hair is a sturdy hair coloration for colored highlights. Any coloration ought to happen particularly plenty, the place as blue in my blonde hair seems eco-friendly. My cousin has black hair shes executed each thing; blue, crimson, crimson, crimson. Its ur decision, whichever appeals to u maximum.
