I am 10 weeks pregnant with my first, and am so excited to have this baby and enjoy all of those early experiences. My boyfriend has a 3 yr old and I love raising him and watching him learn and blossom into a young kid. My mother tells me that she enjoys her kids more now that we're all grown up. So my question is, at what stage do/did you enjoy the most with your child? Please explain. Thanks!!

There are different things about all stages that I love!

I love newborns to 12mths the absolute best! They are so innocent and they learn so much so quickly that it blows me away. Every week you have something new to brag about! He smiled, he rolled over, satup, crawled, walked, said mumma!!

My son is now 2 1/2 years old and I love how he comes and wraps his chubby little arms around me and plants a big kiss. Also his infectious laugh and ability to brighten my day with a cheeky smile even when he's being intolerably naughty!!

My daughter is now 5 and I love how she comes up with ridiculously funny things to say but that are so bright and witty. I look at her and wonder where the time has gone and how she can be so grown up yet still my baby? I love sneaking in and watching her 'role-play' with her teddies and dolls and seeing how much she is absorbing from our everyday life.

Each age and stage has its own wonders but I still think the first year is the most amazing as they learn and change so much!!

Best of luck and congratulations. enjoy each moment, as its over in the blink of an eye never to return!

I love the time between age 1 and 2- the changes are so amazing and they are sooooo cute! I guess my least favorite age is 7-11, they are very annoying at that time. I am thoroughly enjoying, however, my kids being old enough to talk to on an adult level. They come home from school and we rap about the day, the weather, the news....it's very cool.

I enjoyed my kids most of the time, but they were the most lovable between 3 and 4 years old. By 5 years old they're no longer believing everything you say and starting to think for themselves. I managed to keep my sense of humor and it smoothed out many bumps. If it could get ridiculous and silly, that was best. The most fun we had was free. Putting on our swimsuits and making tie-dye t-shirts in the back yard did cost a little bit, though (8 years old).

I think every stages has enjoyment and frustrations. I have heard from many parents that they enjoy their children the most after they are grown. I think it is because you finally get to see what all your hard work was for. There is nothing greater than being a parent, no matter what age your children are.

my baby is my life & the most beautiful that has ever happened to me ♥

Before I was a Mom I never learned the words to a lullaby.
I never thought about immunizations.
Before I was a Mom I had never been:
Puked on.
Pooped on.
Drooled on.
Chewed on.
Peed on.
I had complete control of my mind and my thoughts.
I slept all night.
I never looked into teary eyes and cried.
I never got gloriously happy over a simple little grin.
I never sat up for hours watching a baby sleep.
I never felt my heart break into a million pieces when I couldn't stop the hurt.
I never knew that something so small could affect my life so much.
I never knew that I could love someone so much.

My kids are 3yo daughter and a 10mo son. My 3yo drives me up the wall constantly with the temper tantrums and doing whatever she wants with no regard for anyone else, but I loved the 10mo stage, crawling, cheeky but not naughty, they love to learn things and find everything interesting, very happy and usually easy to get along with, both my son and my daughter were amazing at this stage. But who knows in the future, there will be many more stages that I love in them both.

My son is 8 and I really liked it when he was under one years old. Because he did not talk back to me and he didn't walk. So he always listened and I always knew where he was. But I also enjoyed the early pregancy feelings that you are having, I used to talk to him and play with him when he was in my body. I stil;l talk to him and play with him now. But the first year I think would be my favorite. Watching your child grow so much it is amazing. Chrih it and good luck with your first baby. they grow up way to fast.

gosh, my son is only 3.5 months old, but I love him SO much. This baby is my world. Everyday I love him more and more. I love him more than I ever realized I could love a person.
Everyday is the best day with him ... He seems to be learning something new everyday! and he does these cute little voices where I know he's trying to talk and communicate with me. Just wait until you have a baby ..there is no best time, you are going to feel feelings you never felt possible. It's a love like no other :)
congrats on the little one! good luck! God bless!

I think every stage is beautiful in its own special way you have to take them all with a grin cause they go by so fast and you are left reminiscing on them all when they are little there is a challenge and when they grow that challenge grows with them (: but above all you see you will love them all
