If given the choice between seeing an air show as it is today, or seeing one where jets fly at supersonic?

speeds. Which one would you want to see for real?
If you could push aside the regulations and law. Just for that show. Would this be worth it or not ?

I did not mean for the whole show to be at supersonic speeds, but with one plane doing some flybys outside of the group. As a tax payer i would like to see what the jet could do if it had to escape with great speed. Why did they build planes that can fly that fast if they are not going to do it during combat missions?

It would be neat to see a flyby of a jet(s) at supersonic few times but a whole air show of supersonic? I like variety.

I have been air shows where supersonic flight was part of it when I was in the Navy. We refereed to them as fire power demos. There is nothing exciting about supersonic flight . You really don't get much of a chance to even see the aircraft they go by so fast. I would rather see a show where it was possible to enjoy the aircraft and the maneuvers.

hi the aircraft flying supersonic would do just a lot of noise and no show. even now the maneuver diameters are too large and you cannot enjoy the show. / now speaking of the solo, not the formations like redarrows etc./ the smaller show box, the better. and the high speeds do not fit into a small box.

We had a supersonic airshow many years ago over Kelowna. One of the Blue Angles had to catch up and busted all the windows in the downtown area.

I don't think it would be that enjoyable.

would like to enjoy some nice sets of manouvers in slow speed, rather then the supersonic airshow
