Don't do it! It doesn't sound safe to me.

when talking to people on the Internet be careful how much information you give to them. usually your first name and roughly where you live is OK. eg Birmingham or south london. but never give home address. when meeting someone for the first time take a friend or tell someone where you are going and why! meet in a very public place like a coffee shop. Don't meet him in the pub!!! even if the man seems to trust worthy don't give your personal details and don't go somewhere more private with him, stay public and safe. Axe murders can be very charming people and seem to be trust worthy and lure you in terrible situations. Not all men or women you meet on the Internet are whom they say are and can give wrong information. However there are some genuine people on the internet that just want a romance or friendship. good luck and be safe!!

Fist of all, you can't be in love with some one you've never met. You don't even know if what he says about himself online is true. You have a crush on him. Second, if you insist on meeting him, do so in a public place, during the day, bring some one with you, and let a parent/relative/friend know where you are and who's with you.
How old are you?

if you want to meet then do so --- just make sure you are safe --- somewhere of your choosing during the day in a public place --- a coffee shop in the afternoon is really ideal --- make sure people know where you are and see what he is like --- if you dont like what you see then you can always just walk away ---- if it works out you have the afternoon and evening to get to know each other maybe even a meal ---- its no worse that a bar or club i feel its safer as you have more control over the situation ---- best wishes (all this assumes you are of age)

Just be care full, meet in a public place and take someone you trust along. Tell him you are doing this for both of you, if he backs off he is not thinking correctly. He should respect that you want to be safe.

You should edit your response to say how old you are! There's a big difference between someone who is 17 going to see someone who is 24 and someone who is 70 going to see someone who is 77.
If you do insist on meeting the person, meet the person in public and bring someone you know and trust.

No, internet dating is creepy. Meet someone locally "in person" that you know through a personal friend. And you don't love someone that you haven't met. If you are young, you probably have a crush on the whole thing, but trust me, you don't love him. You don't even know him. Be smart, be careful.

NO. Do you really trust those websites? Are you sure he's giving you the right information about him? What if he's MORE than 7 years older than you? Think.
But if you really wanna take the risk, then do so.
It's your choice so...good luck! ;)

depends, how old are you? If you're under 18, i'd have to say HELL NO!
If you're over 20, then it shouldn't be so bad. If it's in a public place, and lots of people know where you're going.

Go for it. Invite him and his mates round I'm sure he'll be fine.
Seriously, don't do it you doofus. How can you love someone you've never met. He'll be an overweight computer geek with bad skin. I bet he smells like Doritos.
