no there is nothing such in Islam.
if anyone convert away from Islam than he is left with three options.
1) Either accepts Islam
2) Leave the country
3) If dont want to leave the country then pay rental amount of living in the Islamic Country.
he has to accept any one option from that.
as far as death sentence is mentioned in question and answers...this is only modified version of islam and is done by wahabi mullahs. any kind of modification is not allowed plus if some one does this then he seperates himself from Islam.

There is no single verse in the Qur’an that prescribes a worldly punishment for apostasy. The Qur’an states the punishment only in the Hereafter. However, numerous verses in the Qur’an affirm freedom of religion and reject compulsion or coercion in religion; for example, see Chapter 2, verse 256.
The Glorious Qur'an says, "Let there be no compulsion in the religion: Surely the Right Path is clearly distinct from the crooked path." Al Baqarah, 2:256.

This isnt mentioned in the Quran as a punishment for leaving the religion...this was created by man later, when Islam was an empire and it was important to keep citizens from defecting. It's not practiced at all really....I'm sure there are a few cases but I guarantee it's not a big thing on the mind of most apostates.
There are plenty of ex-muslims out there, btw...and they don't life in fear for their lives.

How come Muslims whined about what was done to known Taliban terrorist sympathizers in Abu Ghraib, who conspired against their own people and killed many ... while stoning to death innocent, defenseless women just because somebody "claimed" they committed adultery????
Do the adulterous men get stoned to death beside them? What a barbaric act.

You guessed it girl......it is not.
That concept is based on a verse in quran that says that if you kill somebody it is the same as killing the whole mankind.
These is one of the teachings Islam borrowed from other major religions, the rest is superstision, hate, etc.

people were killed because doing adultery and it is written in old and new testament (by stoning them to death ) and the adultery is not blasphemy in is a sin while coming out of Islam is blasphemy and it is more than sin !!!!
take the wisdom from the quran the last testament
Forbidden to you (for food) are: dead meat, blood, the flesh of swine, and that on which hath been invoked the name of other than Allah. that which hath been killed by strangling, or by a violent blow, or by a headlong fall, or by being gored to death; that which hath been (partly) eaten by a wild animal; unless ye are able to slaughter it (in due form); that which is sacrificed on stone (altars); (forbidden) also is the division (of meat) by raffling with arrows: that is impiety. This day have those who reject faith given up all hope of your religion: yet fear them not but fear Me. This day have I perfected your religion for you, completed My favour upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as your religion. But if any is forced by hunger, with no inclination to transgression, Allah is indeed Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.

when did they say they wanted peace?
Christians and Jews didnt say anything about peace either. Old Testament.
maybe they want war which is not as good as true peace but better than fake UN style peace
Stop assuming everyone worships peace like you.

You really can't judge a person on what their most holy texts say, even if it dictates the way they live their life.
You must judge people on their actions, if they are the people of peace, then their actions would be a relfection of that. Right buddists?

You can leave Islam in your heart, no punishment to you since no one knows. But once you announced that mean you are insulting Islam, and it is serious act.
Well, it is one of the system in Islam. It is not a game.Take it or leave it.
