cried out to the Lord in Distress and He answered his prayer
my friend was healed by God of disease, physical changes miraculously happened, february 14 2003 around 5 oclock it was I believe a spiritual rebirth as well... He was HEALED BY GOD.... He had been sick for 3 years with many complications from colon cancer and never told a soul... He prayed and prayed and after going through HELL for so long and almost giving up , loosing bunches of weight, his abdomen was swollen like a watermelllon... The Holy spirit took control on that valentines day and He found himself crying on his pastors front step, and He apologized for never going to church . He got back into his car and He said it was like demons quarreling inside his body NOT wanting to leave..... He said he screamed at the top of lungs, crying heard a voice say Release, and then all the air was taken out of Him and He knelt over the steering wheel in his car and a sensation came upon he had never felt...... He felt his abdomen and it SHRUNK it was gone... he could also see perfectly again ... That day he found out without a DoubT!!! that God exists and HEARS EVERYTHING and knows ALL... He would have rather died than face the life of someone that has to be in the hospital bed sick so He depended on God. And in those months , while sick, He suffered greatly I could see it in his eye...... It was my twin brother , He and I never kept anything from each other but He did not tell me that He was sicker than a dog for years. Holding all that in and depending on God to come to your rescue is the definition of FAITH

I would like to correct the answer of one of your responses at 2 Kings 23-24
It's 2 Kings 2:23-25
You have to understand that Elijah was just chosen by Jehovah to be the next king of Israel. He was given a special Cloak to wear
to show the people that he was now the newly installed king and that position deserved the highest respect by all of God's people.
All children from birth were taught the Mosaic Laws given to Moses and were responsible for their actions at a certain age. Apparently these were wise guy kids who new the laws but kept on jeering and making fun of this newly installed King chosen by their God and who deserved the utmost highest respect. The actions they took with out any regard for the consequences was deserving of death.
So what do we learn from this?
We should love and honor our God and continue to serve him whole souled.
But also we should have respect for the positions of authority that rule this present world. Such as judges, presidents, police and so on. Until God's Kingdom Government Takes over all earths affairs very soon as set out in Dan 2:44 then we will see the full fillment of Rev 21:3,4.
Sincerely yours,
Fred M. Hunter

One night a few years ago I had a vision of God reaching His hand down thru a cloud toward me.
To my shock and fear, I felt an enormously powerful presence touch my chest and I felt like I had the strength of ten men.
The next day Benny Hinn was on tv and he was saying that when God is pleased with you He will touch you.
Ezekiel 36:26-27 applies to what God did here; He gave me a new heart and filled me with His Spirit.

Sometimes when you're down, repeat it to yourself, it helps! You can't do anything on your own without God. I guess it serves as a reminder that you're only human, and He is your creator.
I took a midterm last week, and I only scanned my notes a few minutes b4 the test, and well i got praying when the teacher handed it out... just received the scores, and I have no idea how i got a 98. Of course some might say Good luck but i have faith... i can't do anything without God.

Deuteronomy 23:1
"He whose testicles are crushed or whose male member is cut off shall not enter the assembly of the LORD.
I mean the verse is hilarious, I mean to think that at one time "God" actually made this a law. Wow what a funny guy god is.

"Do not clip your hair at the temples, nor trim the edges of your beard." - Leviticus 19:27
You are violating God's commandments if you have short hair and trim or shave your beard.
On the occasions when I have not trimmed my hair or beard recently, Christians tell me to trim my beard and get a haircut. Apparently, Christians don't read the Bible.

John 20:29
29 Jesus said to him, “Thomas,[a] because you have seen Me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”
All of Christianity since the passing of the apostles, who were the last living witnesses of Christ, has been based upon this verse. This is who we are, those who have seen with our spiritual eyes what can not be seen with our physical eyes.
We are the blessed ones.

John 15
26 "When the Counselor comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who goes out from the Father, he will testify about me. 27And you also must testify, for you have been with me from the beginning."
It means that the Holy Spirit or 'Counselor' will come to those who are with Jesus and confirm or confess about Jesus.
That is what happened to me over 20 years ago. When I began to trust God, His Spirit came to me in no uncertain way. I was immersed in Him and I gained the obvious 'quickening' that He brought to me.
And I am testifying about Him now. Apparently the 'must' in the verse reaches beyond the typical meaning of the word in English. The urgings of what I've learned about God in the meantime are so close to my mind for thinking, my fingers for typing, and my mouth for speaking, that they just come out.

The last part of John 4:8. ....God is love.
It's very simple and straightforward.
To me it's a counterbalance to the hellfire and damnation preachers.

2 Kings 23-24.
God sends two bears to maul 42 children because they said "Yo, move it, baldy!" to Elisha.
Surely, this is a passage we can all relate to. I was once attacked by 27 flying squirrels for making fun of Don King's hair.
