Increase the size of your breakfast and reduce the size of your dinner. Actually, if you eat good and healthy breakfast you're not as hungry at night. I noticed that dinner calories tend to accumulate in the stomach area, I don't know why. Add salad or other veggies to your dinner. I'm not suggesting to replace a meal with it, but just add. Salad will take up some space in the stomach while other food will provide the sence of satisfaction.
No donuts, no fries, no chips. Eliminate the extra grease as much as you can. Bake the potatoe instead. It's just as filling and tasty, but not as greasy.

Here is what I did to help reduce My "beer belly". Try grilling meats instead of frying them on the stove top. Also baking can be lower fat if you use a grate under the meat when your cooking it. If you are worried about the dish drying out you can cover it with foil or those new bake bags. This keeps the meat tender without all the fat. To accompany it try rice. There are many flavors to chose from now days. And steamed veggies. They keep flavor, again without all the junk added when you pan cook. They also are more colorful and appeasing to the eye. Portion size is important. You stomach is only as big as your closed fist. Takes some getting used to but you will find out you will feel satisfied. Not "stuffed" after a meal. One last thing. Try cutting back or even eliminating carbonated beverages.(soda, beer, energy drinks, etc) Try a glass of wine and some water with dinner. That cuts out the carbonation. Can also be romantic. Good Luck

When Do You Need Internal Cleansing?
If this is the first time you've been exposed to this life-changing information, you've probably never considered this simple question: Are you clean inside? Of course you take care of the outside: You shower, brush your teeth and wash your hair on a regular basis, but do you clean yourself inside? In this modern, toxic world it's becoming a simple fact of life that our colon (the ‘sewer system' of the body), liver and other organs also require regular cleaning. Just like a car requires an oil change periodically.
How do you know when it's time to free your body of accumulated toxins, parasites and other waste materials? If you experience one or more of the following, then it's time to detoxify:
Frequent fatigue and low energy
Flatulence, gas & bloating
Excess weight
Food allergies
Impaired digestion
Irritability, mood swings
Bad breath & foul-smelling stools
Parasites in stool
Frequent colds
Recurring headaches
Chronic constipation
Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS)
Protruding belly ("pooch")
Powerful food cravings
Skin problems, rashes, etc.
Metallic taste in mouth
Hemorrhoids
Candida infection

My boyfriend actually likes a lot of the Lean Cusine and Healthy Choice dinners. And he's a meat and potato man. You could try chicken or turkey casseroles. Even a hamburger or burger made with ground turkey is okay if served with a healthy vegetable or salad. Alot of the Campbells chunky soups are filling and low in calories. I do our grocery shopping and I try to buy healthy. His downfall is that he won't give up sweets and candy.

Grill it, don't fry it...is a good start..the breading in fried foods adds a lot of calories and soaks up a lot of the grease it's cooked in.
Get LEAN cuts of meat...low in fat. Chicken is great, grilled and without the skin.
SOUPS can be very filling...and you can cut the calories in them (per serving) simply by adding water....kinda sneaky huh? :)
Salads that have meats in them...a chef salad is very satisfying and with a low cal dressing..also a great diet food
\MOST IMPORTANTLY....
TALK with him, LOVINGLY, about your concerns for his health. I started a diet back in June (lost 65 lbs so far) simply because my wife was worried about me....she had read where guys with a neck bigger than 18 inches havge a much greater risk of health problems (diabetes, heart attack/disease, liver and kidney problems, sleep apnea..etc)
...so I went on a diet just so she wouldn't worry...later I also started thinking..."you know she keeps herself looking nice for me, I should do the same."....she certainly flirts with me a lot more lately..and smiles more, too.
The "Honey I love you and I'm worried about your weight", approach comes across well (especially if accompanied by genuine tears).......but whatever you do don't NAG him about it, he'll probably eat more if you nag/gripe him about it.

Fast food, beer, soda, french fries and over-eating cause this kind of thing... my boyfriend is dealing with it as well.
Do not go to fast food places, quit soda, cut down on or quit drinking beer, eat normal portions, eat more salads and/or V8 and be more active.
