It's hard to talk while wearing them. It's a little tricky at first to figure out how it all work, but then it gets easier. They don't hurt so much as they're kind of annoying. Fortunately, you don't wear it the whole time

This is called a removable appliance, because you have to take it out of your mouth to turn the key. Place the key in a hole on the screw, so that the key is facing toward the back. Rotate the key 90 degrees to the front. This is one rotation of the key. Your doctor will tell haw often and how much to turn the key.
