well he had meet alady on my space and has talked to her for a week or so, she doesnt talk to him for 2 days and when she does she asks him to send her $500 to nigeria to balance out her plane ticket to get home to qld australia

Yes he is. My bf's dad got scammed out of $200 like that. Tell him to block her immediately.

sorry anything coming from Nigeria is automatically a scam --- so dont send the money and to prove it is a scam talk some more and try to find out some information about the lady (its probably a guy anyway) ---- dont even think of going to Nigeria --- check the web its full of stories about scams

yes, he is definitely being scammed. I hope he hasnt sent her the money cause if he has I dont think he will see it again. The lady may be genuine, but i doubt it

my brother went thru the same thing last month and sent two grand to some girl who said she was a teacher and was from Ireland.. he lost the money.. so dont let him do it..
