Longshoreman, or apprentice in any trade. Skilled trades don't require degrees and pay great but you do have to do an apprenticeship.

Skilled trades are great but if that is not your thing try a call center. I know it sound horrible but getting in may not pay you a huge amount of money at first but if you get into the right company they usually have tuition's reimbursement or free training. I took advantage of the overtime offered which with my previous company which put me in a higher bonus bracket for our end of year preformace bonus. Call centers are not great fits for some and at times suck but if you find a good company you might be surprised. They prompt from within and usually over look the having no-degree requirement. I worked for a VP that only had a GED but worked his way from a rep to the top. Most companies (corporate businesses) at entry level may pay low at first but show them you are worth the investment. That is how to "sell" yourself to a company if your education level is not exactly what they are looking for.
I was with one of the largest insurance companies for 5 years and when I left I was make very good money AND I went back to school on their dime and now use that for my current career.
Best of luck too!!

You can get a computer job without a degree. Just take a certification test by MicroSoft. It cost $80 to take the test and you can get books to study for the test from your local library. Once certified by MicroSoft, you can start out making around $30,000 per year and cap out in the 6 figures if you work it right.
