Afroja has no meaning in English per se. It is, however, derived from the Latin root "afer" meaning African.

As I remember, afroza is a semi precious stone. A kind of flower is also named as Afroza.The word also denotes light green color, the color of the Afroza stone.

feroz means a turqoise-ish colour, afroz would be exagerating on how turqoise something is.
as in 'good' exagerated is 'best'.

Its arabic by the way.or persian.

EDIT afroze is persian it means brightening
