My question is, that when I start my maxima (2000 GLE w/AT and TCS) the SES, TCS Off, and Slip Lights do not light up at all. Also my ABS light does not light up, not that this exactly a bad thing, but i thought they all should light up then go out for diagnostic purposes. I had just purchaced the car and didnt notice this. The car seems to be running fine but i do think it is idling way too high, around 1500 rpm in park. I'm just trying to get some advice before i take it to a dealer, hoping it is something i can try to fix.

Sounds expensive you can do prelimanary inspection of the terminals inside the idle speed control melted ISC plug is below the throttle chamber, under the rubber air flow meter boot to the throttle chamber. It'$ is very bad ISC shorts and takes out the Engine Control Module. I may have done 5 of those failures mostly on 2000 Maximas. ABS TCS self test may have been affected too. If the ABS Slip light don't self test with a new Throttle chamber assembly and wiring repair and ECM you have another expensive repair.
