When I notice that I'm depressed I read my scriptures more, pray more and try to exercise more. I also try to get more sunshine. If you are used to a certain amount of sunshine and move somewhere where there's not as much your body can do some weird things and cause you to be depressed. It's called SAD - seasonal affective disorder. It stems from a lack of vitamin D. The only two natural sources are the sun and sweet potatoes.

Usually Wellbutrin. If I don't have a scrip then some good weed usually makes everything funny. Lots of South Park and Family Guy also help or else I go sit in the snack bar at Wal-Mart and watch the employees for 30 minutes. I know I'm no where as f-dup as they are, so that always cheers me up.

First if you feel it's very serious, do make an appointment with your doctor.

My POV(point of view):
Don't be depressed life is for living not for being depressed.
I spent too much time in a counselors office. I watched a movie one time where the leading character said that everyone has an audience! You wouldn't want to depress your audience.
Rather it be your friends, family, or peers! Live life and enjoy it!

If you have someone to talk to them go and talk to them. If there is nobody to talk to that you trust then think about the things that make you happy. Whatever it is. Shopping therapy, chocolate ice cream, helping someone worse off than you...do it. At least it will take the edge off the depression for right now. Also taking a shower helps, get out and take a walk to get some fresh air in your lungs and what your doing right now will help you feel better because I'm writing you so you know someone cares who doesn't even know you ;)

Do something to cheer yourself up. Do something you enjoy doing. With the weather so beautiful lately maybe you could just go for a walk outside, and that would cheer you up. Or hang out with friends, or watch a movie... Something to get your mind back on the positive.

If I'm very depressed, it's usually about something in my life that's making me unhappy. In that case, I make a plan and figure out how to change it.
