We worship chuck norris because he performs miracles.
Consider this:
Filming on location for Walker: Texas Ranger, Chuck Norris brought a stillborn baby lamb back to life by giving it a prolonged beard rub. Shortly after the farm animal sprang back to life and a crowd had gathered, Chuck Norris roundhouse kicked the animal, breaking its neck, to remind the crew once more that Chuck giveth, and the good Chuck, he taketh away
Wouldn't you want to worship a man like that?

What is up with you and Chuck Norris? I am from 100% Oklahoma stock, but grew up with Norris as my hero because I grew up within a few blocks from his first studio in Redondo Beach, Ca. My big brother took some lessons from Chuck. He is a living legend, and yes, he would have, and did beat Bruce Lee in competition. He was bigger and stronger. Still, there are oil-field Okies and Texans that would just rip little Norris to death. Don't act like he, or any other little guy could beat up the toughest big guys! It's just not going to happen, and it lessens the fact of how tough Norris really is!
