ANSWER a. coronary circulation.

This consists of the left and right coronary arteries, which are the first branches of the aorta as it leaves the left ventricle. The left divides into anterior descending (LAD) and circumflex arteries; right into posterior descending and marginal. All these supply the heart.

Myocardium = heart muscle (Greek myo = muscle; cardios = heart)

Endocardium = inner lining of heart; endo = inside)

pericardium = outer coat of heart (peri = around, as in perimeter)
