I REALLY want lip piercing like super bad but im worried that they are going to hurt like a ***** and i mean im going to do it no matter what but i just want to know what im going to experience

it doesn't hurt that much, it just really depends where they pierce it at, i really suggest going to a professional, because they would know exactly where it should be, it does hurt like HELL if you pierce it on the wrong place.

Pain differs from person to person, but none of mine ever hurt. I had 2 off center ones and currently have a center one.
But if it was excruciating pain, people wouldn't get them.
If you go in thinking it'll hurt really bad, chances are it won't hurt at all. For some piercings I've gotten I have gone in thinking it'll hurt like hell, and it ends up not hurting much at all.
The biggest pain in my opinion is putting up with the swelling the first few ways, but there are ways to get past that. Oh, and if you have too long of a stud and bite down on it, that's also one of the biggest pains!

I just don't really get lip piercings. I've seen some people who look good with them. But the constant thing being there...and all the proplems it may causes.
Sorry I hope I'm not being a downer.
Think hard about it.

it really doesn't hurt that much. just like a pinch thats about it. the healing is honestly worse than the piercing itself. It's probably all in your head.

I got my lip pierced in the middle and on the side...it's more fun than pain!!! just think of all the dif. jewlery you can put in it. I'm in the military so I can't have any...my holes grew over. :'-(

you're essentially going to experience a needle through your lower lip.
make sure you look after it well & stay away from:
hot food
alcohol
kissing
performing oral sex.
