How long did it take for you to get use to them in your eye? Do you wear it comfortably now? And also is there a major difference in soft lenses that hard lenses that you think? Do you think it is better on dryness?

It didn't take me very long to get used to wearing RGP lenses, but my eyes changed and got too dry for them, so couldn't wear them comfortably. I have soft toric lenses now, RGPs are better for astigmatism, but the soft are better for dryness, at least for me. The ma jor diference is that the hard work much better for astigmatism, and it may take a lot of trial and error to find a soft lens that will stay on axis

Soft lenses are more comfortable, and easier to get used to, than the gas permeable! I have worn them both in the past. I changed to the gas permeable for my astigmatism. Since then, I've had Lasik Surgery, and it has eradicated any eye problems I once experienced. Try Restasis for dry eye! I used it when I wore contact lenses. You'll need a prescription for it.

Mine hurt my eyes like crazy but it's the only way I can see better right now. I'm still trying to get used to them but I've had some other issues that doens't allow me to wear them consistantly.
