Im almost scared of them now. It seems like every one i meet treats me like a suspect. one told me to shut the f^ck up during a traffic stop. Im a tax paying vfw god fearing parent of 2. I expect the police to be courteus keepers of the law, and i get cursed at. i may had not been polite with the man but to be cursed at is unbecoming. i reported the scumbag and th scumbag but still see him on the streets and have not read one thing about him in the paper, make sme sick. then again hes only one cop. im sure there are some good ones out there.

Called the cops when I saw a man trying to beat up a cabbie...I had my little kids in the car and wasn't leaving them
alone. They showed up in minutes and 'protected and served'.

Been stopped in Utah for speeding - no way - I had cruise control set...explained to the cop why he was wrong and he changed it to a no seat belt warning; he was wrong about that too, but I shut up.

I use the police service when I feel I have to, as something my taxes pay for.
When the interaction is positive and the officer is respectful, he is reciprocated likewise. However, I am always aware of my constitutional right to request an investigation if those services are not provided, mistreatment occured, or a civil right may have been violated.

Yes, I've had to call police for emergencies twice. They were great and I'm glad they were there.

i've been pulled over and i've also called the cops before. I don't really "feel" anything for cops. some do thier job, some don't.

Sometimes they have been honest, sometimes they have been mean. But considering I have never resisted, and treated them with respect they haven't tazered me or anything. They are who they are.
