For several months now my feet are in constant pain......some days i can hardly walk after getting out of bed......i have been to the doctor many times and nobody knows what is wrong......also my feet itch but mostly hurt...especially if i have been standing for long periods then sit down.....when i stand up the pain is terrible...any ideas on what this could be??

I agree with petunia, it might be diabetes. My mom has that she cant stand for too long. Maybe you should ask to screened for diabetes

If your pain has a tendency to burn as well as itch or sometimes they tingle or just go numb, I'd get tested for diabetes.
Now if they only hurt or feel like this in the heels of your feet, I'd check with a doctor about heel spurs. I had to have mine removed because my doctor said it looked like I was trying to grow my own high heels.

I would get orthopedic shoes and see a specialist. It could be any number of things. special shoes could hit your feet at different points to help lessin the pain or correct the problem. I know similar problems are common in diabetics, but that only means diabetics could have sympothy, not that that's the problem. That and common problems mean more places would be able to make special shoes to help your feet.

Circulation or nerves. Have you been checked for diabetes lately? Find a good Dr.
