at 13 and 115 i would say you are definatly in the normal range but if it's something you really want to pursue i would suggest some healthy habits that should work well for anyone in your age group...
first of all, cut out your sweets and junk food. you will want to track how much fat you eat (someone with your stats should only consume between 44 and 66 grams of fat per day). stick to leafy greens, veggies, fruits, whole grains, etc. but don't go totally overboard with your portions.
second, young teenagers tend to spend looooads of time online and watching tv. you will definatly lose weight if you limit these activities to 1 hour per day. (the more you sit around the less quickly you'll drop weight)
limit your beverage intake to water only for a few weeks, but MAKE SURE YOU TAKE A VITAMIN PILL. you would be amazed at how many beverages are loaded with calories.
lastly, take this advice but don't get totally carried away. you still need to eat balanced meals, fat included. just stick to common sense, don't take seconds, don't eat a lot of junk, keep your portions a little smaller and don't sit around.

How tall are you? You never want to lose weight fast and even if you do tend to drop weight quickly, it's not done in a way to keep it off. Try to cut out breads and drink alot of water. Eat 4 or 5 small meals instead of 3 large ones. Always eat breakfast (even if it's a slim fast or something similar) and try to excersise, even walking works! Sorry, but there really isn't a quick fix!

all you have to do is condition your body to not need to store the fat that you have. Routine yourself to walk for at least 1 1/2 hours a day, everyday!!!!!! Eat huge meals no later than 6:30 pm and if you eat later than that, eat lightly and save the huge meals for mid-day or brunch my friend when you are the most active so you can burn off the medium. You are too young so starving yourself in your growing stages is not healthy and you will regret it later in life. You want to develop your manly-hood well, eat up and tone what you gain. Do push-ups, sit-ups. Do it until you can't, then relax for 30 mins and do it once more until you can't (less reps) and then relax again and a third time if you want but not necessary. By the time your beach trip will come, you will have a six pack and some toned arms. Even if you are a bit heavy, heavier guys can still hold muscle and not shrivel up. Remember, do not diet. If you want to eat good, just make sure you eat more fruits and replace them with snacks.

You dont have to worry about loosing weight.
Eat healthy and take some sports to keep your body tones.
You can start with taking walks, listening to your favourite music and do a lot of walking.
Watch what you eat. Trying to eat a healthy diet will always help you.
Dont forget to drink a lot of water evryday. You can get flavored one and keep one in your bag all the time.
You will be great !!

You don't need to lose weight...just eat healthily, and get some cardio! There is no 'fast-way' to lose weight, just the hard way.

I was 14-16 and 230ish!
The way not to do it is starve yourself, to start with. Just exercise and eat right. I did....lost 90 LBS because of it. Starving yourself won't help at all. Drink more water, eat less before bed, and don't eat for stress are the 3 things I follow and i'm going pretty well if i don't say myself. 90 LBS isn't anything like 5-10lbs so take my advice. If you want anymore details, feel free to email me. Just please be patient for ppl seem to email me for advice on this, I will reply, don't worry! ~Adia`

oh sheesh! 115 lbs!! you dont need to lose weight at all! thats healthy! unless you are like two feet tall that is a good weight for you!
you can tone your body (that doesnt mean you have to lose weight.) by working out. if you work out hard for about a month you may see results. just make sure you eat enough to support working out.
you can make yourself look like you lost weight by working out but you could gain weight. (muscle weighs more that fat) if i were you i would go by measurements, not your scale.

I've lost 5 kilos in my first week. It's my 10th day and I have included salad with some protein (eg. egg/ lean chicken) as you suggested. After 4 years of trying, the fat is finally coming off. It truly feels like magic!
Get started today!
