Unfortunately they only need one vote to get top answer, and the vote is usually made by themself.

Here's a simple fix. Don't put the question to vote. Give the 10 points to the person you feel best deserved it.

When you vote for "best answer" you vote for the answer you like best... if that happens to be the one you gave, then sobeit. If you don't want that to happen, as the questioner, you have the right to choose Best Answer and that's IT. If you're not, and you don't vote, well... you get what you don't vote for!

Well nobody actually bothers to vote (do you?) unless it's for themselves, so it's not the quality of the answer it's just the person that remembers them self first. Sadding.
