I need a mattress thats about 3 feet wide by 7 feet long. (Could be a bit smaller though) Id like something that will work well and be comfortable but also not too expensive. Not more than 200 or 250. Any ideas?

Just about any place that sells mattresses can order special sizes. They are normally 25%-50% more than the next bigger size. 39"x80" is a twin extra long and is close to that size.

we needed an odd size mattress, so we found a place that custom makes them any size. Look in the yellow pages and you should be able to find someplace close to you. Our was about 6 1/2 long and about 5 wide. We paid $225.

It sounds like an extra long twin bed. Depending who makes it, the dimensions are either 39 x 80 inches or 40 x 82 inches.

One of those memory foam ones like the wine glass test. Cut it. An after market one. No name one.
