i just bought a VGA cable so i could hook up my 360 to my monitor. everything was fine hooking it up to the monitor it's just that i can't hook up the sound. i bought the Microsoft VGA cable, so it came with the jack to plug the red and white wires into. the only thing is that i can' t plug the jack into the back of my speakers because theres know where to plug it in and i wanted to plug the jack into my sound card, but i don't which color to plug it into. i have the colors pink, green, light blue, yellow, and black. where would i plug the jack into or should i just buy different speakers?

There are two common types of audio ports - standard RCA (usually red and white) used in DVD players , etc, and 3.5 mm, very common in PCs , PC speakers, etc.

You can go to radio Shack and buy very cheap stereo RCA to 3.5 mm adaptors that will solve your problem.
