find daily calorie intake calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 400-600cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours - it optimizes your metabolism)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day (have lots of veggies to eat in between meals if you are still hungry)
8 glasses of water -carry bottle of water with you and when you feel hungry drink it - we often confuse hunger with thirst (our bodies confuse it)
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have protein (lean meat, legumes etc) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio is the only fat burning exercise and burns fat all over your body (running, jogging, swimming, spinning, elliptical etc) 4-6 times a week for average of 45min, light weight training a few times a week (more muscle=faster metabolism)
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, pasta etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, ice cream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
of course you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

They feel that if they really push their bodies they can lose more weight in a couple of work outs. This is a very serious thing in fact. I know what its like to have a weight problem, ive been there myself, i know how difficult it can be.
From my experience, the best things you can do are these:
Have a look at what you eat in meals/snacks -
1) Decrease your intake of high fatty, sugar, salty and oily foods.
2) Eat fruits and vegetables (recommended intake is 2 serves of fruit and 5 serves of veges - 1/2 cup each serve).
3) Eat foods that are rich in fibre like breads (not white), pastas, rice etc.
4) Eat meats like lean meats, tuna / salmon (high in omega 3 D,H,A oils, for a healthy heart)
Do not have huge servings of meals, cut them down, have enough to fill a plate/bowl.
Do not starve yourself, it does not work. You can have any food you want, just in moderation.
Exercise for at least 30min-60mins a day, if you can do more than that, that is ok also.
If you have weights and/or cardio equipment (eg treadmill or exercise bike) at home, use them.
If you are a member of a gym, speak to a personal trainer about getting a program sorted out.
Do some walking / jogging, try to get a friend to do it with you, for added motivation.
Join a club that does physical activity like: sports, martial arts etc - not only you will get fit, you can make new friends as well.
Look on the internet or go to a library and find books / articles on healthy eating and physical activity.

Eat 1500-1600 calories a day (assuming you are male).
Cut out sodas (diet and regular), and sweetened coffees and teas.
Eat at least 5 fruits and veggies every day, and eat as many colors as you can.
Eat whole grains.
Eat low fat meats (you only NEED .36 grams of protein per pound of body weight, and most Americans get significantly more than that).
Drink 2-3 cups of skim milk/day.
8-12 cups of water/day
30-60 minutes of intense quality cardio 4-6 days/week.
25-45 minutes of weight 4 days a week. Legs and abs Monday & Thursday. Arms and back Tuesday & Friday.

Well youre going to have to start counting calories sadly. Eat anything (except fatty foods) and eat 500 calories for breakfast, 300 for lunch, and 500 at dinner, and 200 for a small snack. Exercise on a machiene untill you burn about 200 or more calories. Eat at subway alot. GOOD LUCK!

I go threw them for alll my meals and snacks and vitamins why do I go threw them cause they are #1 and I care about my body. Hope this helps you realy need to atleast check the site out. And always do your reaserch on what you eat and drink.

The way not to do it is starve yourself, to start with. Just exercise and eat right. I did....lost 90 LBS because of it. Starving yourself won't help at all. Drink more water, eat less before bed, and don't eat for stress are the 3 things I follow and i'm going pretty well if i don't say myself. 90 LBS isn't anything like 5-10lbs so take my advice.
