Anti-Spyware for a cost.
Personally I bought Webroot's Spysweeper, their product is great and well worth the money. Watch Best Buy ads because sometimes it goes on sale for $10 to $15.

Most computers have an "add and remove" function that will uninstall most programs, including files ending in .exe. Normally it's found in "My Computer" . If you installed this spyware from a disc, you may have to reinsert it in the CD rom in order to uninstall it.

Download Spybot - search and destroy from download.com. do a full scan, and go to fix selected problems at the end. Also, get spyware terminator from there too, to prevent any future problems.

Run a scan with this tool: http://starturl.com/AdWareAlert

I've never had a problem with adware, spyware or any of the tricky trojans since I got this.
